Obituary

David N. Fraser, 51, passed from this life to his eternal home on September 23, 2021.  David was born on December 29, 1969, in Long Beach, California, son of Norman and Jolene Fraser, - and grew up in Seal Beach, California.

David earned a bachelor's degree in political science at California State Long Beach, graduating in 1993.  He attended one year of Seminary at Biola University, California. David began his career in education and later transitioned into the IT field.

He married Julie Fraser in 2018 and they became a blended family with four daughters, Lauren Fraser, Anna Fraser, Lauren Endersbee, and Emily Endersbee. David was a loving husband, father, and son.

From a very young age David took on many leadership roles.  He loved to sing; he held two lead roles in children's musicals, and he was part of a trio singing group at his church and they were broadcast on the radio about once a month.  At the age of 15, he taught tennis for the City of Cypress.  David was an Eagle Scout and held every position in leadership in scouting except Scout Master.

David loved the Lord and devoted his life to ministry.  In his younger years, he went on a summer mission trip to China and worked as a youth pastor at Christ Presbyterian in Lakewood, California.  Throughout his life, he completed various ministries in his churches in California and Virginia.

He was a lifelong New England Patriots fan, but if the truth be told, maybe he was more of a Bill Belichick fan.  He was also a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan.  In David's downtime, he enjoyed golf, fishing, hiking, and the mountains.  He was well traveled with his favorite place being Mammoth Lakes, California.  David enjoyed fine dining and good wine.  He was an excellent cook and was inspired by "Somebody Feed Phil" to try new foods.  David was a devoted family man and cherished his friendships, both old and new. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

David was preceded in death by his father, Norman. He is survived by his mother, Jolene, his wife, Julie, and his four children, Anna, Lauren, Lauren, and Emily. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, October 1, at 7:00 PM at Cornerstone Chapel, 650 Battlefield Parkway SE, in Leesburg.
