On July 7, 2024, William H. Maddox Sr. (Billy) passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 90. He was born December 9, 1933, in Leesburg, Virginia, preceded by his parents James L. and Dorothy Schulke Maddox, his brother, James L. Maddox, Jr. He is survived by his wife Myra J., his sons, William (Audrey), Michael J., Patrick L. (Angie), daughter, Teresa A. Piper (Robert), granddaughter, Lauren A. Piper, sister, Patricia M. Darby and brother, John M. Maddox.

He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War.

There will be no formal memorial service.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
